TGIF! Here’s a quick look at all of the content we pushed out this week!
Via Josh Keyes’ Facebook I discovered the work of Andy Patch, a talented young artist based in Los Angeles. I called it symbolism on acid, and he loved it. Have a look at some of his best work:

Renee was on fire this week! She wrote up a beautiful style profile on music’s rising star Phlo Finister:

In a riveting book titled, “The Salton Sea,” LA-based photographer Rebecca Cabage embarks on a journey within the largest body of water in California. Check out our interview and more pictures here, another fab story by Renee.

Cray post of the week; Seattle startup creates a bra for partygirls to keep their valuables… near their valuables! Check out the JoeyBra!

We’re all obsessed with Agent Provocateur Classics’ new campaign… And that’s for our lingerie crave this week!

Have you ever driven down a street and caught a glimpse of street art so interesting that you were only able to sneak a peek of before having to slam on your breaks to avoid causing a five-car pileup? The founders of Mural Locator know that, and they’re here to help. Check out the full story:

After catching a glimpse of photographer Layla Sailor‘s captivating photos for print designer Lisa Stannard, MTV personality and fashion designer Whitney Port asked Sailor to collaborate on a fashion shoot to promote her new jewelry line. The lookbook came out fab!

Anchorage-based photographer Mark Meyer captures exquisite shots of the Northernmost state with gorgeous views only an Alaska-native would ever see. Take a peek!

Let’s start this off by showing off our Art Crush of the week, a young lady from Florida named Brianna Marie Angelakis who emailed us an artwork submission we simply adored and published almost instantly (BTW you can submit artwork too - more info here!).
The piece below, titled “Artemis On The Hunt” is our favorite from her portfolio right now. Very promising!

Meanwhile in San Francisco, Abby went to 941 Geary for the opening of “Loving The Exiled” and shot a fantastic portrait of Herakut to illustrate our interview with the art duo. Here’s a memorable quote from our convo:
“Every artist should use his talent to support his environment. To be only doing it for yourself cannot be enough. We strongly believe that your own happiness only comes through others and being in a healthy, loving and giving environment. Give to receive. Never put art first. Put people first.”

Now, here’s an interesting new trend around Hollywood; Pheromone parties are a strange form of blind dating where participants are instructed to wear the same shirt to bed for three nights, and then stick it in the freezer in a bag until the party where it will be labeled with a number and set on a table for other people to smell. It creates connections in the most animalistic way, and people get to meet those whose smell they were most attracted to. Rad write up by our new contributor Gabrielle Lisa Collard.

How about we transport you to the Belize island of Caye Caulker and tell you, for once, to go slow…Kristin Kirgan’s latest photo-board is absolutely stunning.

Swedish Hasbeen’s popup shop within L.A.’s American Rag opened on Thursday night and we can’t wait to gear up with their adorable shoes.

This week’s lingerie inspiration is a little naughtier than usual - NYC SEX Trash’s Virginal Blanc collection is for the coy with an inner coquette…

We’ve been anxiously waiting for our special delivery of Hex products including this luxurious iPad case we’re drooling over!

We’re almost done here… Stoked to help Jason release this super hot lookbook shoot for SGC NYC, shot at Hotel 17 in New York City!

TGIF! Words of wisdom via (365) Days of Tumblr.

And now that my man’s back from tour, I’ll be doing this all weekend:

Artwork above by Brandy Eve Allen, another rising star in my book.
Tuning off… now!!!
Have a great weekend!
